Vague Bleue

Sea views, sunny terraces, and garden fragrances are the things that first entice you when you enter Villa Vague Bleue (VLC). The luxury rental property is in Lurin, a quiet enclave on the island of St. Barth. It is close to town but private, and it also has some wonderful sunset views.

With three similarly sized bedrooms, Villa Vague Bleue is a good choice for a group of friends or a family with adult children to share. Of course, the  concierge can customize a memorable experience for any group, with private activities ranging from surf lessons to wine tastings.

The social hub of the villa is the pool area, on the upper level. The pool itself has views over the harbor, as does the sundeck around it. The main living areas of the house are also on this level, with the covered terrace in front of the living room and the streamlined kitchen, which has an outdoor barbecue area to the side. There is a breakfast bar to divide these spaces, making a perfect spot for your morning coffee.

Two of the three bedrooms are on this upper level. The master bedroom connects with a flight of stairs that leads down to the third bedroom. Of course, this can easily be closed off, creating three independent bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, plenty of space, lovely views and private outside spaces.

In the back of the house, there is a jacuzzi area.

Guests should be advised to arrive with a 4x4 small car, as the roads can be tricky.
