From the outside, Villa Geneviève (GEV) may look much like any other villa on the island of St. Barth. But inside, it is a magical world unto itself. During the recent renovation project, the creative owners of this luxury rental property kept the original colonial exteriors and let their imaginations run free indoors.

The experience of being a guest at Villa Geneviève begins when you walk through the thick gardens outside, passing by a dramatic cascade at the entrance. When you open the doors, you behold a mesmerizing view outdoors and eye-catching statement pieces within the walls. This is a house that combines the vestiges of the past with the energy and intrigue of the present and future.

In the heights of Lurin, Villa Geneviève has a privileged place on the island that is close to many conveniences and attractions. But the real attraction is within the Creole architecture. The owners have reinterpreted it to help you enjoy unforgettable moments. The design tells a story—of an adventure through a universe of unique design.
While staying at Villa Geneviève, you can expect bright colors and vivid patterns, zebra print on the floor and a bright blue rhinoceros head (obviously art, not real) dominating the scene in the living room. It is a place to get lost in wonder and whimsy.

The three bedrooms are similar in size and amenities, including European king beds and ensuite bathrooms with rain-head showers. One of them has a terrace and alfresco bathtub. Two of these bedrooms are to the right side of the living space. One of these is in the front with access to the pool, and the other is in the back with a private patio and outdoor bathtub. The third bedroom is upstairs.

They share a tricked-out contemporary kitchen and a large living room, where the entertainment includes not only Apple TV but an old-school video game machine. Outside, on the terrace, is the heated pool, in which the sunset colors blend in with the ocean views beyond.
